Course Description
The program provides the necessary skills and training in the care
of the sick, physically disabled, elderly, children and infant or
nanny care, and people with special needs.

The Live-In Caregiver program consists of 750
hours of theory and in school practical, in keeping with the
requirements of the Canadian Embassy, Students are required full
time attendance only.
The length of the program is 6 months.
Monday of Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm or
3:00pm – 9:00pm.
On the Job Training placement of four
weeks daycare, and four weeks in a elderly care institution may be
provided.
Employment
Opportunities
The graduate of the Live-In Caregiver program
would work as a childcare worker, babysitter, nanny, caregiver of
the special needs, and physically challenged.
Skills provided for the elderly care
include are of individuals with Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Dementia and
Alzheimr’s.
Graduates of the Live-In Caregiver program are
hired by Canadian families or their relatives as caregivers or
nannies and issued a work visa by the Canadian Embassy.
The Live-in Caregivers are given 24
months of “Live-In” Employment after which they can apply for a
Lacked Immigrants status.
Canadian Citizenship can be obtained
after three years of working with an open permit.
With the growing elderly population in North America, in Europe, and
world, and the lowering percentage of birth rate, there will be an
increasing global need for Live-In Caregiver program all over the
world.
Requirements
1.
Applicants must provide proof of academic standing equivalent to
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or you may apply as Mature
Student.
2.
Must be able to read and write English. A minimum score of 550 on
the TOEFL. (English as a foreign language).
3.
Must provide a medical doctor’s certification of current health
condition on more than 6 months prior to the course start date.
4.
Must provide a criminal reference check no more than 6 month prior
to the class start date.
